2025 SPRING volleyball Ages 8-14
Registration is limited. Volleyball is growing fast, and the number of participants increases every season.
We’ll be participating in the GORC Spring 2025 Vball League, Odenton Sports Center.
Please note the following items when registering:
The cut-off date for the age groups is August 31. To play, your child must have a birthdate in one of the ranges listed below. The age groups are as followed:
10U: Must be born from 9/1/2012 to 8/31/2014. 12U: Must be born from 9/1/2010 to 8/31/2012.
14U: Must be born from 9/1/2008 to 8/31/2010.
16U: Must be born from 9/1/2005 to 8/31/2008. Practices:Practices will be 2x/ week beginning week of March 23rd. Please note the day(s) your child CAN NOT make practices in the fall if known at the time of registration. Games: The league will consist of volleyball teams competing in matches on Saturdays beginning Saturday, April 19, 2025-Saturday, June 7, 2025. The games will be played at Odenton SportsCenter. Registration: Space is limited to 12 slots only per team. Volleyball registration is open to both boys and girls. Currently, there is no separate teams for just boys or girls with SBBGC. Early Registration: $200 January 7 - 31, 2025 Regular Registration: $215 February 1 - 28, 2025

Fall 2025 Registration is now CLOSED includes:-Gym fees- Knee Pads- Arm Sleeves- Drawstring- Headband During the Fall 2024 season, SBBGC sets the season start and end dates for intramural teams. Teams this fall are developmental with interplay between South Bowie teams only. No prior experience necessary. Contact registrar@southbowiesharks.org for registration questions. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN COACHING, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A BACKGROUND CHECK DONE AND ATTEND A COACH’S CLINIC THROUGH THE COUNTY. You will need the background check done BEFORE the season starts. We are always in need of coaches!
