The South Bowie Boys and Girls Club (SBBGC) is a private, non-profit corporation incorporated under the statutes of the State of Maryland and is governed by the Board of Directors.
The organizational structure of the club is designed to capture both board and non-board members input through the use of several committees that are charged with specific responsibilities to maintain the expertise needed to solve the day-to-day issues of the Club. Effectiveness and communication are open to all that have a sincere interest in giving back to the children in the community. As implied by the club name, SBBGC primarily serves the South Bowie community.
SBBGC provides youth with opportunities to participate in many sports activities. Each sport is administered by volunteers. We offer basketball, soccer, cheerleading, wrestling, and football programs for girls and boys ages 4 – 14. These activities are available to all youth living within and around the South Bowie community, regardless of ability and/or skill level. Participants receive instruction from coaches who are American Sports Effectiveness Program qualified.
