GRassroots certification
The South Bowie Boys & Girls Club strives to provide quality coaching to all of our athletes. The club will pay for you to obtain your US Soccer Grassroots certification to achieve this goal. You must complete the free introductory module, an online course, and one in-person course to be considered Grassroots Certified.
The U.S. Soccer Grassroots Coaching Certification is the entry point into the national coaching pathway and is designed for coaches working with players from the recreational level through early competitive ages. The program focuses on creating a positive, player‑centered environment and introduces coaches to U.S. Soccer’s Play–Practice–Play methodology, which is now the standard for youth development across the country.
