Welcome to the South Bowie Boys & Girls Club Basketball Program!
Get ready to hit the court with the South Bowie Sharks!
Our basketball program is dedicated to providing young athletes with an exciting, positive, and supportive environment where they can learn, develop, and grow both on and off the court.
Our mission is to teach basketball fundamentals while promoting teamwork, discipline, leadership, respect, good character, and sportsmanship.
Whether your child is new to basketball or looking to improve their skills, our program offers opportunities to build confidence, develop friendships, and experience the excitement of being part of the Sharks family!
At South Bowie, we’re not just developing athletes, we’re building future leaders! SBBGC County Basketball ProgramThe South Bowie Boys & Girls Club County Basketball Program providesyoung athletes ages 8–14 with an opportunity to develop theirbasketball skills, experience competitive team play and build lastingfriendships.
Our program emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship,discipline, and player development in a positive and supportiveenvironment.
Program Overview:Ages: 8–14 years oldRegistration Fee: $225 per playerLeague Locations: Prince George's County and Anne Arundel CountyPractices: Twice per week, one hour per sessionTeam Rosters: We strive to limit teams to 12 players to maximizeparticipation and development.
Practices and Game SchedulesAll teams practice twice per week for one hour per session. Practicedays, times and locations will be communicated once teams and gymassignments are finalized.
Prince George's County League:* Games are played on Saturday afternoons.* You will need a Maryland State Non Drivers License ID to play or ayellow card.
Anne Arundel County League* Games are played throughout the day on Saturdays.* 14U Division: Games are played on Sunday afternoons.
League placement and game schedules will be communicated to familiesonce team assignments are finalized.

South Bowie Boys & Girls Club welcomes dedicated volunteers who are passionate about mentoring young athletes.All volunteer coaches must complete the required background checks and applicable coaching certifications or clinics before participating.If you are interested in coaching, please contact the Basketball Commissioner.
