registration policy
Registration is ON-LINE ONLY, 24 hours/day during the registration period. On-line registration can be paid by credit card, Visa or MasterCard. DO NOT COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM ONLINE IF YOU WILL NOT BE PAYING AT THAT TIME. YOUR CHILD IS NOT CONSIDERED REGISTERED UNLESS AND UNTIL ALL FEES ARE PAID. CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. WALK-UP/IN-PERSON REGISTRATION IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
Sports Registration Fee: This fee is charged per child, per sport and will vary depending on the sport. Uniforms and /or equipment costs are not included in the Sports Fees.
Waivers for Sport fees can only be granted by the Commissioner of that particular sport. No coach has authority to waive Sport Fees. If a Sport Fee waiver is granted, the Registrar and Treasurer must be notified by the Commissioner of the particular sport granting the waiver, in writing, by email or fax in advance of the registration. No verbal waivers will be accepted. The Registrar and Treasurer will keep a record of all waivers. Equipment and Uniform Rentals for all sports: ($150 deposit by personal check, cashiers check, money order or cash. (Returned at end of season) South Bowie Boys and Girls Club reserve the rights to withhold participants $150 deposit at the end of the season should any uniform or equipment become missing or returned damaged.
Your child is not officially registered until the Sport Fee is paid in full.
Refund Policy for Sport Fees: SBBGC does not provide cash refunds. Sport Fee refunds, if granted and approved, will be made by check, if the sport fee was paid in cash or will otherwise be credited back to the credit or debit card used for payment. Refunds, if approved, will only be issued to the individual who registered the child and paid the Sport Fee. Refunds, if approved, will only be processed by the Treasurer of SBBGC. Refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 days of approval. Refunds are only granted and approved under these very limited circumstances:
· Medical Reasons (must provide notice from a doctor/medical provider). · There is no team for the child to participate on. · Child is injured prior to the start of the season.
It is the responsibility of the Sport Commissioner to ensure that the Registrar and Treasurer are informed of the need to issue a refund. If a registered child cannot participate for any other reason than stated above, a refund will not be granted. A Sport Fee Credit Voucher may be issued at the discretion of the Commissioner if requested by the parent prior to the end of the sport season for which the child is registered.
It is the responsibility of the parent to notify the commissioner that a registered child will not be participating for any reason prior to the end of the season for which the child is registered. No refunds will be granted and no Sport Fee Credit Vouchers will be issued after the end of the sport season for which the child was registered.
