LACROSSE
Lacrosse is a team sport played with a lacrosse stick and ball. It is the oldest organized sport in North America, with its origins in a tribal game played by eastern Woodlands indigenous peoples and by some Plains Indians tribes in what is now the United States of America and Canada.
SBBGC is currently working with Prince George’s Youth Lacrosse League (PGYLL) a subdivision of Parks & Recreation which offers lacrosse for K-8th Grade in the county. PGYLL offers youth lacrosse clinics and courses throughout the year as well as a recreational league to help introduce and grow the game of lacrosse in Prince George’s County. This spring will be the 3rd full year for this program and the new initiative will be the “Stick-To-It” program which will aim to provide an opportunity for girls ages 6-14 of all skill levels to gain valuable knowledge and experience through lacrosse training. Anne Arundle County Background Check $7: https://www.ebiinc.com/aacountyA criminal history records check serves as a means to review an individual’s background in respect to their participation with youth activities. While no screening process can grant absolute assurances, knowing an individual’s criminal background can provide greater certainty that an individual with a history of inappropriate behavior will not have access to our youth. A parent’s watchful eye is still our greatest resource to keep our children safe.
